A. Shipping Details
I want to pickup my order in one of your Ottawa pickup locations, but the website asks me for my shipping address. What do I do?
 Ideally just enter your own address under the Billing Details step of ordering and press on the Bill & Ship to this Address button under it.
Don't worry, if you choose the Pickup at Ottawa Pickup Location option in the Shipping Details step of ordering, once you press the Continue button on the Order Confirmation step of ordering, a Thanks  for your Order  page will come up with the addresses of our pickup locations and a link to our email address asking you to inform us where and when you want to pick up your order.

You can then copy and paste your choice of place, date and time onto the email that will automatically open when you click on our email address link.
You see this online store system is not custom made to our way of functioning so we have to make due with it.

I want to have my order shipped by Canada Post.
That is how we ship unless requested to do otherwise. We add a $7.00 fee for handling.
We have to charge a handling fee in order to cover the time we take to properly process, pack, and mail your order at the nearest post office. We hope this arrangement is satisfactory to you since it is the best we can do.

I want to pickup my order in one of your Ottawa pickup locations, but the under the Shipping Method section of ordering, your website only gives me the option of picking up my order at your Ottawa Pickup Locations. What do I do?
We're sorry our website does have this mysterious defect that we have not been able to to correct yet. This problem occurs occasionally and then stops on its to come back to normal. You can always order via email. Sorry for the incovenience. Even good websites have their small glitches.

We keep changing mall to better serve our customers.  Priscilla makes arrangements to go to various malls at different times, so that it is more convenient for our customers to reach her through the year.  There is no set schedule, we try to keep our web page up to date, if for some reason the information is not current; please give us a call at 613-538-2337

Do you have stores in Ottawa where I can pick up my order anytime I want?
No, we're sorry we do not have any stores in Ottawa that sell our products.
We are at various malls during the year or you may choose to order on our website
or by phoning the bee farm.
We prepare your order.
Once you place and paid for your order from Bee Sweet / Api Santé, we arrange to have your order dropped off  at one of our locations in Ottawa at the specified time.

C. Ordering on our Website Tutorial

Ordering on our Website Tutorial
1. Click on product categories on the left side of the screen eg.( HONEY OINTMENTS, BEESWAX CREAMS etc.)

2. Click on a product photo to open the product. (If you like this product please take the time to write a review. Write a Review button is at the bottom of every individual product.)

3. Choose a product size ex.(500g 1kg) and choose how many you want  in the quantity box.

4. Click on the small shopping cart icon to the right of the quantity box.

5. The contents of your shopping cart will appear on the right side of your screen.

6. Keep on browsing and shopping until you've found everything you want.

7. When you're done shopping, click on the Checkout shopping cart icon on the right side of your screen above your shopping cart contents. 

8. Step 1 : Account Details For some reason our website does not seem to recognize the password and email combination of people who have created an account on our website.
 Therefore the best way to proceed is just to choose the Checkout as a Guest option on the left side of your screen and press on Continue button.
Our website will then send you a temporary password included in the automatic email that it will send you.  You can login and see your order status by using this password.

9. Step 2 : Billing Details You will need to enter your name, address, phone #, email address, etc.

10. If your shipping address is the same as your billing address, please click on the Bill & Ship to this Address button at the bottom of this page even if you will be picking up your order at one of our Ottawa pickup locations. You will be entering the pickup info later. Press on Continue button.

NB : If your billing address is not in Ontario but you want to pick up and pay for your order in Ontario, please enter all of your info in the Shipping Address step of ordering except for the Address Line 1, Suburb/City, and State/Province where we would appreciate if you could type in the address of the pickup location where you want to pick up your order.
Otherwise our website will not include the PST, we have to charge you, in your order total and we will have to make the changes ourselves.

11. Step 3 : Shipping Details If you have not clicked on the Bill & Ship to this Address button on the bottom of the Step 2 : Billing Details page you will need to enter your shipping information and address. Please enter your address even if you will be picking up your order at one of our Ottawa pickup locations. You will be entering the pickup info later. Press on Continue button.

12. Step 4 : Shipping Method Here you will have to choose if you want us to mail you your order or if you want to Pickup at Ottawa Pickup Location to pick it up at one of our two Ottawa pickup locations. Press on Continue button.

13 Step 5 : Order Confirmation Right up to this point you can modify your order by scrolling upwards and finding the View Cart (x items) tab at the top of your screen. Once you're in your cart menu, you can remove items, add items or keep shopping.

At this point you pay with Credit Card option to enter your credit card info on our secure website.

On this page you can also type any questions comments or instructions you want in the Order Instructions / Comments (Optional) text box.

Once you press on the Continue  button at the bottom of this page you cannot change your order. You have just confirmed your order.
If you have chosen the Credit Card option then you will be asked to type in your credit card information. There is no need to worry. All billing details and credit card info is encrypted and stored on secure servers.

14. If you chose to Pickup at Ottawa Pickup Location, the Thanks for your Order page will come up next and will give you the pickup location options with addresses, map links. It will ask you to choose your pickup date, time & address from the list of options and tell us via the email link (sales@beesweetontario.com)
All you need to do is copy your choice of address, date & time, click on our email link and paste that info, then send us the email.
We will automatically match it to your order since it contains the same name and email address.

15. You will then be sent an automatic email by our website with your order info, temporary password ( if you checked out as a guest) and all the pickup locations info and map links.

16. Once we receive your order and pickup location date, address, and time (if you chose Ottawa Pickup) we will personally email you to confirm your order and pickup details

I made an order on your website but I forgot an item and want to add it to my order. What do I do ?
You can always modify your order, up until you press the Continue  button on the Order Confirmation page.
Throughout the 5 steps of typing in your billing and shipping details, you can change your order (add or delete items) by scrolling upwards and finding the View Cart (x items) tab at the top of your screen.

However, once you've pressed the Continue button on the Order Confirmation step of ordering, you can no longer modify your order on your own. 

We can modify it for you though, as long as we have not yet processed your payment through Paypal: just call or send us an e-mail, and we will add the item you forgot.  (You could of course always make an additional order, but this may result in additional Shipping and Handling charges if your previous order has already been shipped.)

PS: Even though this process is explained in great detail, it is a simple process that can be done in as little as 15 minutes. 

D. Acceptable Methods of Payment

Can I pay for my order with a credit card when I go to pick it up at the pickup location?
We're sorry, but that is impossible. However you can choose the option Credit Card  on the Order Confirmation step of ordering. This will allow you to type your credit card info on our secure website.
You can also call us anytime 613-538-2337 and give us your credit card info so that we can process the transaction for you. All credit card info is destroyed once the transaction is successfully completed.

I don't really like PayPal. Can't I just give my credit card# over the phone? Its so much easier.
Yes we are glad to say that this is now possible.
You can give us your credit card info over the phone.
We will then process the transaction for you.
Please note that we can only accept  Visa and MasterCard by phone.

E. Checkout and Password Related Problems

Question : I have created an account with my email address and password and tried logging into your website afterwards but your website did not accept my password. I know I punched in the right password and email address.  What's the problem with your website ?
Answer : We're sorry that this technical problem seems to occur occasionally.
When that happens please select the Forgot my Password option that appears under the screen that asks you for your password and email address as you're trying to sign into your account.

This will prompt our website to automatically send you an email with a link to our website and a temporary password with which you can log into your account.
Enter this temporary password with your email address to log into your account. 

For some reason our website does not seem to recognize the password and email combination of people who have created an account on our website.
